Rule Book Disclaimer
The rules and regulations set for herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and establish minimal acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events and by participating in these events all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PULICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for conduct for the sport and are no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant spectator or official.
The race director should be empowered to permit reasonable or appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his/her opinion does not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SYCH ALTERATIONS OF SPECIFICATIONS. any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.

BOX STOCK DIVISION
Age Limit: Box Stock: 7-13 years. Must be of age on or before 12/1/2021 (All drivers must be approved by promoter). Drivers must submit a birth certificate upon registration. 7.6.2. Minimum weight is 270 pounds with kart and driver. 7.6.3. Motor: Specified sealed Briggs & Stratton 206, bearing a genuine, untampered Briggs & Stratton security seal. See Promoter or Dealer for specifications. 7.6.4. Must use the Black slide Part No. RLV 555590 7.6.5. Must use B&S exhaust system including the newly developed Outlaw Kart exhaust package. Part No. RLV 5530. No modification of the pipe or muffler allowed 7.6.6. Owner/Driver will be responsible for motor being legal. You are responsible for ensuring official seal is attached and untampered with. All motors will be subject to the technical specifications of the B&S 206 United
ule Set. B&S Racing Class structure will not apply.
BEGINNING BOX STOCKS
7.5.1. Age limit: 5 to 8, Must be of age on or before 12/1/2021. Be prepared to present a copy of their birth certificate on registration day. Minimum Weight 250 with kart and driver. 7.5.2. All exceptions must be approved by promoter. If you have had 2 seasons of racing experience and you are age eight or older on the date of the first race of the racing season you must run in the Box Stock Division. 7.5.3. Throughout the first four events, karts will be randomly weighed with drivers. An average will be determined after those events and will be mandatory for the fifth race 7.5.4. Motor: Specified sealed Briggs & Stratton 206, bearing a genuine Briggs & Stratton security seal. See Promoter or Dealer for specifications 7.5.5. Must use the green slide Part No. RLV 555740 with slide lock. 7.5.6. B&S / exhaust system including the newly developed Outlaw Kart exhaust package. Part No. RLV 5530. No modifications of the pipe or muffler are permitted 7.5.7. Owner/Driver will be responsible for motor being legal. You are responsible for ensuring official seal is attached and untampered with. Subject to Penalty. 7.5.8. All motors will be subject to the technical specifications of the B&S 206 United States Rule Set. B&S Racing Class structure will not apply. 7.5.9. Clutch rule is open 7.5.10. The following parts may not be altered or modified in any manner: 7.5.10.1.Any physical part of the motor 7.5.10.2.Air filter. Also, may not be left off motor. 7.5.10.3.Headers. EGT Sensor may not be installed inside headers. 7.5.10.4.Muffler. Also, may not be welded to the header. 7.5.11. All sealed motors subject to tech at all times. Broken seals must be reported to tech Immediately. Owner Driver responsible for none seal issues. Motor may be held up to five (5) days for inspection. Refusal of inspection may cause disqualification 7.5.12. Motor Exchange Rule: The Promoter alone reserves the right to exchange a house prepared motor that has been verified and is in good running order, for any motor on any specific kart or Karts; for any reason at any time during the race/event. 7.5.12.1. Complete motor will be exchanged, all items above and below the seal, excluding the clutch. This will be a permanent exchange. 7.5.12.2. The selected motor will be surrendered immediately upon request by the promoter or one of his designated officials. The selected kart owner/driver will have five minutes from the time he or she receives the request to surrender the motor or be disqualified. 7.5.12.3. The house prepared motor, will then be marked and released by tech official to be installed on the kart. The kart must continue the race night/event with that motor only pending no mechanical issues. All mechanical issues must be confirmed and approved by the RBO Technical Director. 7.5.12.4. No motor changing of any other kind will be permitted. The exchanged motor will be inspected and upon approval will be placed back in circulation on the next exchange. The Promoter reserves the right to make any variance to this rule.
CLONE CARS
Age limit is 12 years of age and up. Must be of age on or after 12/01/22. Be prepared to present a copy of birth certificate on registration day. Weight Rule: With TILLOTSON 400lbs or PREDITOR 430lbs kart and driver. All exceptions must be approved by promoter.
At any time any official or promoter shall be granted access to an approximate distance of 3 ft of your motor to be teched.
Tech shall be a visual inspection of motor. Any objection of motor tech shall be an automatic DQ for the day and forfeit any points and winnings for the day! (Second offense) Driver shall be issued a ban from the class!
Stock appearing shall be that. Motor shall be in stock appearing order of Carburetor, pull starter, exhaust pipe and muffler, clutch and chain guard.
Motors are to be pull started only! No starters or remote electric starters
Only 212cc stock appearing blocks to be used in motor builds. TILLOTSON 225rs
Carburator: stock like carb to be used..615 venturi max, Carbs must have a working choke. No Mukuni type Carburators. Holy Moses Carbs are ok.
Chain guard: Big Bertha chain guards are recommended. As long as the chain guard covers the clutch it will pass.
Exhaust pipe and muffler:MUFFLERS ARE MANDATORY! Any header is allowed. Header MUST be safety wired to the chain guard or a bolt on the motor! ( This is to make sure if header does come off it does not end up on the track or in someones lap.) Header wrap is recommended!
An elbow shield is recommended to be bolted to chainguard and extend up to protect your arm from the exhaust pipe.
IF YOUR HEADER DOES COME LOOSE OR COMES OFF YOU WILL BE PULLED TO THE INFIELD VIA BLACK FLAG FOR THAT EVENT!
Clutches: Drum style clutches only! NO BULLY STYLE CLUTCHES!
Weight Rule: With TILLOTSON 400lbs or 430lbs kart and driver. 50lbs of BOLTED on weight MAX! Please find other ways of adding weight rather than bolting on lead.
Tires: BOTH Rear tires to be 50 compound. Tires must durometer 50 before and after races.
All karts will Scale after qualifying. Scales will be setup on the exit ramp. Top 3 karts to scale on infield scales after Heats and Mains.
karts to have a 10 inch Number at top of side panel on the flag stand side of kart!
250 INTERMEDIATE CLASS
Recommended age is 12 to 18 years old, or as approved by race officials, based on the drivers’ previous experience and abilities.
Weight minimum for Kart and Driver is 390 LBS., at all races. Weights added to bring the kart up to minimum weight must be safely fastened to the kart. All weights must be painted white, with the kart number written on them. If a weight is lost on track, the driver is subject to a fine. Tire Rule is for ALL races. Right rear tire must be stamped (Burris – QRC50/Hoosier – D50) & durometer at or above 50 before and after track time.
OPEN CLASS
7.2.1. Age limit: Minimum age 15. Must be of age on or before 12/1/2021. All exceptions must be approved by Promoter. 7.2.2. Motor: Any cc – No big street type motors, i.e., 650, 750, 1100, etc, or electric driven motors. If in doubt, ask. 7.2.3. Minimum weight is 450 pounds with kart and driver.
Track Rules - Outlaw Karts
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Everyone entering the pit area must sign a liability release form. Everyone entering the pit area must wear a pit entry wristband. Violation of this rule will result in the team they represent being disqualified.
Your pit area must be equipped with a serviceable fire extinguisher.
Pit crews are restricted from the race track and the infield while a race is in progress. The only exception is the A main, crew member may be in the A main work area. Violation of this rule will result in the kart they represent being disqualified. During a red flag period, AFTER ALL KARTS HAVE STOPPED, pitmen may help restart their kart.
Race officials have the right to remove any kart from the race due to conditions deemed to be unsafe. Such conditions may include mechanical hazards, as well as unsportsmanlike or unsafe driving practices. The decisions of the race official are final.
You and your team are solely responsible for the safety of both you and your kart.
DRIVER PROTECTION:
All karts must be equipped with properly attached lap belts and shoulder harnesses. Minimum 2” belt width is required.
Neck braces are mandatory.
Arm and/wrist restraints are mandatory and must keep the driver’s arms inside the cage during a rollover.
Racing suits are strongly recommended. NO shorts cut-offs, short sleeve shirts or open toe shoes.
